Rajat Patidar will be captaining RCB this season
RCB has made huge announcement on recent press conference in Bangalore.ย Rajat Patidar will be captaining the side for the season of 2025. It was a long wait for the one. Even Rajesh Menon mentioned that they took lot of time in announcing the captain.
Patidar was released from the side in 2021 and was re inducted to the side In 2022 as replacement player he scored a massive century in that season and was the third highest run getter. Patidar had an extensive season in 2024 where he scored 333 runs.He was retained by RCB for huge amount of 11 crores. Last year he was also hinted by management that to get ready for big.
Now he will be leading the side for this season and expectation on him will be high and coach Andy Flower too had mentioned his hitting abilities which he was hinted last year to take up the captaincy and he highlighted that in Vijay Hazare that captaincy pressure didn’t disturbed his batting abilities.
