What is one of the major changes in the MI squad this year? Well, the management has brought in New Zealand’s fire-spitting pacer, Trent Boult for 12.50 Cr with the aim to strengthen the team’s already strong bowling line-up. 

The Kiwi is certainly not a new face for ardent cricket fans. Having been in the 2019 World Cup-winning New Zealand team, Boult’s contributions certainly cannot be overlooked. The 35-year-old joined Mumbai in 2020 and was the man of the match in the title-winning final against the Delhi Capitals. 

During that season, he amassed a total of 25 wickets, dismissing some key players in 15 matches with a best bowling figure of 4/18. If that’s not impressive, we don’t know what is!
