Shreyas Gopal is an all rounder who bats and bowls leg spin. He was born on November 4 1993, in Bangalore,Karnataka. Gopal made his first-class debut for Karnataka in the 2014- 15 season of the Ranji Trophy. He made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a domestic T20 competition, in 2015, representing Karnataka. Gopal made his IPL debut in 2014 for the Rajasthan Royals . He later went on to become an important player for Royals. In mega auction too he was retained by Rajasthan. Chennai has acquired him at the price of 30 lakh.
