The 28-year-old Guyanese power hitter personifies the passion of short format cricket in every word. The left handed middle order batsman exploded into the international scene after successfully captaining the West Indies squad to a Under 19 2016 ICC T20 Worl Cup.

His explosive batting style soon caught the eyes of IPL selectors. And following his international debut in all three formats, Hetmyer was picked up by RCB in 2019 before spending two season at Delhi. However, in 2022, the RR crew brought in the power hitter to the squad. 

During that season, he displayed his prowess, playing a crucial role in the RR’s journey to the final that season, scoring 314 runs at a strike rate of over 153.
