Rutherford is a hard hitter batsman who plays for West Indies  cricket team. Rutherford came into limelight Global T20 Canada tournament in 2018, where he led the West Indies B team to a runners-up finish with his stellar batting performance. He scored 230 runs in 8 matches. Due to his dynamic style of batting he was confonted to BPL, CPL. In IPL he was bought by Delhi in 2019 at the price of 2 crores. Next year he was bought by Mumbai Indians for 2 crores .  He was with them for 2 years where he gave significant contributions. In 2022 he was bought by Banglore for 1 crore but he didn’t get enough opportunity.  In 2024 he was bought by Kolkata where they became champions. In 2025 he has been bought up by Gujarat Titans for 2 crores.
