Mitchell Starc is an left hand fast bowler who plays for Cricket Australia. Starc was born on 30 January 1990 in New South Wales, Australia. Starc made his first class debut at the age of 19. Where he was just unstoppable. Soon he was into national side. Where he was selected for Icc T20 world cup 2012,but didn’t get enough chances. But 2015 was a breakthrough year for him where he became player of the tournament in world cup 2015.

Starc contribution to Ipl is substantial because mostly he has been injury prone. He set his name in 2018 ipl auction where he was bought by Kkr he had a quite good season. But injury detained him for next season. In 2024 Ipl auction Starc was retained at a whopping price of 24 crore. Now in Ipl 2025 he has been bought by Delhi capitals at the price of 11 crore.
