Spear heading Rajasthan’s bowling attack is Barbados born Jofra Archer. While the 29-year-old made his international debut with the Caribbean Under-19 side in 2014, he jumped ships to England after moving to the UK the following year.
His high time came in 2019, when he played a decisive role in the team’s title winning campaign. His nerves of steel and presence of mind were evident during the crucial super over in the final. The right-arm pacer again proved his mettle later that year in the Ashes, notably rattling Steve Smith with fiery spells and claiming a six-wicket haul.
Archer made his IPL debut in 2018, he picked up 46 wickets for the inaugural champions over the next three seasons. He was also named the IPL Most Valuable Player for the 2020 season. There after, Archer was picked by MI in IPL 2023 but returned to the Rajasthan side after four years, after being hauled in the IPL 2025 auction.
