Nicknamed ‘Danger Russ,’ befitting his ballistic batting style, the Jamaican all-rounder is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after talents in the IPL. His brash batting coupled with a well-rounded bowling has kept his stocks up even during a tough spell. 

Whether it’s a run chase or setting a humongous total, the 36-year-old has always been Kolkata’s trump card. His highest score in the tournament was an unbeaten 88-run knock, back in 2018 where he averaged a strike rate of 184.79. 

Before leaving the Delhi Daredevils camp after a brief stint (2012-2013), Russell has stood by KKR since 2024.
