Jaiswal said in recent interview:
“The IPL has helped me a lot in improve my six-hitting technique. In particular, I would like to mention Jubin Bharucha Sir, who has been a great help in my cricket journey over the past several years. I also want to thank Rajasthan Royals for their support and for providing a great setup where I can train and prepare myself in the best possible way”.

He faced hardship, overcame the fear of failure, and is now one of Indian’s emerging cricket stars. Jaiswal’s old video has gone viral on social media, where he talked about his struggles and hard-work he said that he used to sell Pani puri with his father on a cart and a picture of this has gone viral. He belongs to ordinary family and shared that he used to sell Pani puri outside Azad Maidan in Mumbai to earn a living. There were times they slept hungry. He also said that he went to Mumbai at the age of 11 to fulfil his goal. He got highlights after Yashasvi scored a double century against England. As soon as this happened, people gathered in front of his shop with drums and celebratory music to celebrate the achievement.
Jaiswal plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Jaiswal made his debut in the IPL in 2020 and in IPL 2024, he scored an unbeaten century against Mumbai Indians. Jaiswal scored 625 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2023 and he also has played 9 Test and 17 T20 matches for India so far.
Jaiswal worked hard to adapt to fast-bowler-friendly pitches, practicing nearly 200 over batting in two days. The opening batsman has set a new record with his explosive innings. He has become the first player to score two centuries in the IPL before turning 23. He scored his second IPL century at the age of 22 years. Earlier, at the age of 21 years, he had played an innings of 124 runs. He had also scored his first IPL career century against Mumbai.
