The combination of bat and ball is always been unique. In IPL the dose of entertainment is at peak. Initially we think it as batsman game because range of shots and the batsman has equipped a lot. But in this phase too we come across lots of quality bowlers who are still the nightmare for batsman.
Getting a wicket in a game is quite crucial once, if we achieve the feat of Hat-trick we have done something extraordinary. In our previous segments we have seen how batsman dominates the game. In this segment we gonna witness about the greatness of the bowlers who just didn’t take wickets but rattled the opponents with their IPL Hat-trick.
#1. Amit Mishra – 3 IPL Hat-tricks
First among the list is our spin sensation Amit Mishra. He just didn’t did it once but did it 3 times. Amit Mishra took his Hat-trick first time in 2008 which was inaugural season of IPL, where he played for Delhi Daredevils and he did it against Deccan Chargers. He took the wickets of D B Ravi Teja, R P Singh, Pragyan Ojha
The second Hat-trick was in 2011 where he played for Deccan Charges on a important match against Kings xi Punjab he took his second hatrick. He took the wickets of Ryan McLaren ,Mandeep Singh, Ryan Harris.
The third Hat-trick was in 2013 where he played for Sunrises Hyderabad against the team of Pune warriors he took the important wickets of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Ashok Dinda.
#2. Yuvraj Singh – 2 IPL Hat-tricks
Second on our list is our own sixer king Yuvraj Singh where he used to punish bowlers with his batting, but here the role was quite reversal one where the ball was in his hand and penetrated the batsman with his spin. Yuvraj have also made up in the list where he took the Hat-trick, that too 2 times.
Yuvraj attained his Hat-trick mark by playing with Kings xi Punjab. Where he took the 2 Hat-trick in the same season in 2009. First was against Royal Challenger Bangalore where he took the wickets of Robin Uthappa , Mark Boucher, Jacques Kallis.
The second Hat-trick which he took was against Deccan chargers where he took the important wickets of Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Symonds, Venugopal Rao.
#3. Shreyas Gopal – 1 IPL Hat-tricks
Next in our list is Shreyas Gopal, you might be wondering why him? Well Shreyas has great skills of bowling thats why he attained this mark. The second thing which keeps him in this rank is the batsman he deceived were no ordinary. Gopal played for Rajasthan Royals, He did it in 2019 while playing against Royal Challengers Banglore.
In that match he took the important wickets of Virat Kohli, Ab De Villiers, and Marcus Stoinis we all know the importance of these wickets and sending them back to back is no lesser achievement. There are other bowlers too who made their Hat-trick achievement for once atleast.
