Shardul Thakur has been effective all rounder these many years. His form might may go up and down but he always tries his level best to live upto the standard of the game. Past few months really were not in favour of him. Where he had to lose his spot from Indian team side. Then he was ignored from BGT selection where once he changed the course of the game by his own.
Its not only the form to depict he has been more prone to injuries too. But every time there is a setback , Shardul has given the answers with his brilliant performances. Recently he has been neglected in IPL Auction 2025. IPL auctions were held in Jeddah were he went unsold. No IPL franchise were interested in buying him. Even its last season team Chennai Super Kings too didn’t tended to buy for his base price too.
This year Shardul is having a great home run he showcased his batting skills when Mumbai team needed him the most. Literally Mumbai had their poor start where they lost their captain Rohit Sharma early and after that team fell like bunch of cards, they lost 7 wickets in quick session of time and were in deep danger. Then came the man to rescue where Shardul and Tanush rescued from humiliation.
Both made standing partnership of 173 where Shardul scored his second first class hundred and Tanush scored his fifty which bought Mumbai back to the driving seat. Shardul scored 113 for 119 balls and Tanush with 58 of 119 balls. Now Mumbai has the lead of 188 runs. If they persist tomorrow then can put up a great show.
