The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to begin on March 22, and all team have started their preparations. In the midst of this, former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also begun his training. Having led CSK to five championship titles, MS Dhoni is leaving no stone unturned in his preparations. He is working hard and sweating it out for the 18th season of the IPL.
Recently, Chennai Super Kings organized a ten days camp in Navlur, Chennai of Tamil Nadu, where all the players have been practicing. MS Dhoni has also joined the camp and received a grand welcome. He is sweating it out on the field in preparation for IPL 2025. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings posted a video on social media in which MS Dhoni can be seen batting. He is hitting massive sixes during practice, which has made the fans very happy. In the video posted social media MS Dhoni can be seen practicing intensively with other players. He has also given a glimpse of his batting prowess ahead of IPL 2025.
On February 27, Chennai Super Kings posted a video in which MS Dhoni and R. Ashwin can be seen walking toward the field in CSK’s practice jersey. While sharing the video they captioned it, “We go way back.” This video has been going viral on social media. Recently, another video of MS Dhoni went viral, where wearing a black T-shirt with “ONE LAST TIME” written in Morse code. This has sparked speculation that IPL 2025 could be his last season the tournament. However, MS Dhoni has not made any official statement regarding this. For now, he is fully focused on preparing for IPL 2025.
MS Dhoni has been associated with CSK since the beginning of IPL. This time, he has been placed in the uncapped Indian players list by CSK. Since 2008, Dhoni has played approximately 264 matches in the IPL. Along with this, he has scored 5,243 runs at an average of 39.1 and a strike rate of 137.5. He has also registered 24 half-centuries to his name. Behind the wickets, Dhoni has taken 152 catches, made 42 stumpings and executed 24 runouts.
MS Dhoni is fully prepared for the 18th season of IPL 2025 as Chennai Super Kings have already started their training. Chennai Super Kings will play their first match on March 23 against Mumbai Indians at their home ground, M.A Chidambaram Stadium.
