MS Dhoni to Play Only in Chepauk in rest of season? CSK coach Stephen Fleming Confirms

IPL’s 11th Match was played on Sunday between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. In this match, the Rajasthan Royals won by 6 runs. CSK Fans criticized team’s poor performance & questioned MS Dhoni’s batting at the lower order. MS Dhoni comes to play at number seven in this match in 16th over, and it was too late for Chennai to win the match. However, MS Dhoni & Ravindra Jadeja were not able to win the match and CSK loss the match. After the loss, CSK fans were outraged on social media and were questioning dhoni’s lower order playing. After the social flood Coach Stephen Fleming comes with a response that “Yeah, it’s a time thing. MS judges it. His body is, his knees aren’t what they used to be. And he’s moving okay, but there’s still an attrition aspect to it. He can’t bat 10 overs running full stick. So he will gauge on the day what he can give us. If the game’s in the balance like today, he will go a little bit earlier, and he backs other players when other opportunities are up. So he’s balancing that,”. When we dig out more on the news we find out it was a April fool press conference. There is no confirmation of actual decision of MS Dhoni or team management. Dhoni will play all the matches of rest of the IPL 2025 season.
