After Faf Du Plessis parting ways from RCB camp, now RCB is in search of a captain who can lead them in the upcoming season of IPL 2025. This season RCB has bought lots of youngsters who can deliver for them. The major concern for RCB is who they gonna announce their team captain as only one experienced player Virat Kohli present there and have the experience of captaining the the team before.
Though on their IPL journey RCB hasn’t won the IPL trophy for once and they will be aiming that this season can be a turning point for them.
Raina drops a major banger on Virat
During ongoing second ODI series between India vs England, Raina dropped a huge hint during commentary , It all happened just one ball before Kohli got out. Kohli got a slight hit when Jos Butler throwed the ball to his keeper Phlip Salt, both exchanged a sweet smile.
Because both of them going to play for RCB this time and Salt can play a major role for them. Raina comments ‘He’s captain too this time’ soon fellow commentator Aakash Chopra got excited about that and he soon tried to verify with Sanjay Bangar who was once RCB batting coach. Former coach stated that he too don’t know much about it. While where other franchises are disclosing their captains but RCB has remained silent on that.

Virat can be vital
Virat Kohli has been leader from 2013 for RCB and a frontier in batting too. Virat Kohli captaincy has been good but they couldn’t captalise the important stages of the game by which they are lacking the trophy. One more concern about Virat is that his lean patch with the bat is still on.
Last time Virat scored a big run was Bgt first match in second innings he scored a hundred everyone thought the king was back after that Virat issue with off side continued and he couldn’t score big till now. In the second ODI between England too he was out for 5 runs. But many say he is not of form he is out of confidence which happens to every international player. Though after Raina hint social media buzzed with Virat Captaincy hope.
