Indian wicket keeper Sanju Samson has got hit in his gloves during the final T20 played against England. The hit was quite a huge blow because he was in immense pain. It all happened in the first over of the game. Still Sanju continued the whole match.
He couldn’t able bat long he was dismissed early where he was once caught by short ball. In recent times Sanju has been troubled or tested many times where he has fallen in the trap. Though Abhishek Sharma 135 runs compensated the innings. Later England couldn’t able to cross 100 run mark and lost the match including the series too.
Sanju out for 6 weeks
After the match commenced Sanju Samson went out for scans where he was advised to stay away from cricketing action for 6 weeks. Its been said that he has got some strain. For time being he will be on rest. Soon IPL commences from March, but it seems Sanju might be alright till IPL because Rajasthan Royals couldn’t able to lose their captain.
He is backup wicketkeeper for champions trophy too. It can be a blow too which is subjected to ongoing proceedings. Sanju form is also a concern where he had to find a way to tackle his short ball outcomes. IPL too is on a long form and Sanju too require match fitness and regain the lost form.
