Kl Rahul had the disappoint start to his Ranji trophy where he been dismissed for 26 runs playing 37 balls. Its the last group leg of Ranji trophy and every team is trying their best for qualification. In this Ranji Trophy season Indian players too have made their appearance to get back their lost form and to get a sheer practice for upcoming Champions Trophy 2025,which is going to start from february 9.
Earlier today Delhi boy Virat Kohli made his presence playing the Ranji match for them. Huge crowd anticipated there and same as here lots of people were there to cheer for their local boy KL Rahul. Karnataka started of the innings at low where Anush Kamboj took the early wicket of opener Aneesh KV.
But captain Mayank Aggarwal controlled the innings with KL Rahul. On going both players played good. The delicate touch of Rahul was seen, there were cheers and whistles for every boundary of Kl Rahul. But it didn’t last long where Ansul Kamboj bowled a peachy bouncer to him which he couldn’t able to handle and was caught.
Rahul went out for 26 playing 37 balls where he hit 4 boundries in it. This innings clearly defies that Rahul is not in that delicate touch. Rahul has two assignments lining ahead of him. First is the Champions Trophy and second is the IPL 2025
In this year IPL auction Rahul has been picked by Delhi Capitals at the price of 14 crores. He can be named as captain for the team. But the form which he is in quite questionable. Rahul has the tendency of great comeback so he has another opportunity in the second innings which he can score vital runs for his confidence.
