Virat Kohli has Same weakness I saw in 2012: Mohammad Kaif

Mohammad Kaif is considered as the pioneer of Indian cricket. Kaif largely known for his fielding and batting abilities which inspired many. Recently he posted a video on X which becomes the highlight sensation. He recalls his Ranji days of 2012 when they were playing against Delhi.

He shares that he can’t believe that Virat Kohli who considered as batting legend of modern era is possessing the same mistake in BGT which he did 12 years back in his Ranji days. Virat Kohli is returning to Ranji after the last match which he played 12 years ago.

He was seen practicing today with the team. Mohammad Kaif explains It was the match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh he was standing in slips during the game and saw Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissing Virat Kohli in the both innings with the same fashion where Virat scored 14 in 1st innings and 43 in the second innings.

Virat Kohli addiction of chasing the ball out side off stump has became common in BGT where he scored a century in the first test after that it was a drought of runs.

The match considered lot of stars  Suresh Raina,Kaif, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Praveen Kumar where Delhi had Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra, Ishant Sharma. He said Kohli played and missed Bhuvneshwar a lot and he nicked a ball which came to him at the low ounce still he took the catch at the first slip.

In the second innings he was anticipating the same that Virat will surely nick the ball and he was waiting for it. He went for the drive as preceded and got the knick.

Despite having this weakness still he had a great international career and created lots of records on his name. He has 50 centuries in his name. Virat Kohli next assignment is Champions Trophy which starts from February 9. Kaif lauded Kohli that its a good decision for him playing Ranji before the big tournament and getting back into the rhythm.
