This year Ipl 2025 auctions saw a variety of changes which includes Delhi too, Their long time reigning captain Rishabh Pant has been bought by Lucknow Super Gaints at a whopping price of 27 crores that was highest bid in the history of Ipl. Rishabh has been integral part of Delhi as he came up with their youth system. Now Delhi is seeking for a new captain for them.

Delhi has bought classy batsman Kl Rahul at 14 crore. Earlier Kl Rahul was the captain for LSG where he had a significant season as a captain with them. Axar Patel has been loyal member for Delhi since 7 years, his experience and game awareness gives him the edge to be the potential for Delhi. Axar all round performance has been a game changer for Delhi, Whereas Rahul has the experience of captaincy leading both Punjab and Lucknow franchise.
