Hailing from Johannesburg, SA is 18-year-old Kwena Maphaka. The left arm pacer made his IPL debut last year with former champions Mumbai Indians. He is the only Proteas presence in Rajasthan this year. His breakout season came last year in the Under-19 World Cup when he picked up 21 wickets – the most by any pace bowler in a single tournament. 

Fortunately, the Rajasthan Royals management hauled in the young pacer for their 2025 campaign. He is currently honing his skills under the strict guidance of Kiwi legend, Shane Bond.
