31-year-old Nitish Rana is another left-handed batting specimen in the royal Rajasthan squad. In fact, he is a dynamic attacking left-handed batsman and an effective off spin bowler and current captain of the Uttar Pradesh cricket team in domestic cricket. 

He has played for Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous iterations of the IPL. He was roped in to the RR squad during the 2025 auction. The Delhi-born batter following his debut in 2016, made an impact the following year with an exceptional 333 runs, playing a crucial role in MI’s title-winning campaign that year.
