Shamar Josheph is a West Indian bowler who was born on 31 August 1999 . He initially didn’t chose cricket as his career. Joseph’s first experience in organised cricket was with the Tucber Park Cricket Club, where he played in both first and second division matches. He made his first-class debut for Guyana against Barbados in February 2023 and showcased his talent with a memorable five-wicket haul against Windward Islands during the same season. He  made available himself for IPL. In IPL 2025 auction he has been bought by Lucknow at the price of 75 lakhs.
