Next up we have the heavy-hitting West Indies T20I captain, Rovman Powell. Hailing from Kingston Jamaica, the 31-year-old brings the fire and the fury of WI cricket to the Kolkata squad alongside his countryman, Andre Russell. 

Powell is originally an all-rounder but his keen delight in hitting the ball out of the park has earned him a ruthless reputation. Despite getting roped into the KKR squad in 2017, the right-handed batter couldn’t get any chance to show his skill and was consequently picked up by Delhi Capitals where he scored his highest score of 67*. 

He stayed with Delhi till 2024 until he was bought in by former champions Rajasthan Royals. This season, however, the KKR management promising its fans fireworks have decided to bring in the Jamaican muscle for 1.5 Cr.
