Women Premier League 2025 to Be Played Across Four Cities

Women Premier League (WPL) 2025 is generating significant excitement as it expands its field to four cities for the first time! After landing in Mumbai and roaming from Delhi to Bengaluru in the second season, this season is making its voyage through Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

The season was set in motion on 14 February 2025 at a brand-new BCA Stadium in Baroda. The first match is going to be a showdown between the Gujarat Giants and defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. A total of 6 matches will take place in Baroda before the limelight shifts to Bengaluru, where 8 matches are going to be played, out of which 4 are going to be Royal Challengers Bengaluru home games. Lucknow is also entering the WPL scenario this season with 4 matches, including 3 UP Warriorz home games.

WPL will bid farewell in the maximum city of Mumbai. Mumbai will host a total of three games at the legendary CCI stadium, out of which 2 are Mumbai Indians home games. Mumbai will host one eliminator on 13th March 2025 between the second and third qualifiers.  WPL will end on a high note with a final clash of top finalists and the eliminator-winner, which will take place on 15th March 2025.
