Lucknow Super Giants

LSG as they’re known is one of the two teams that won the bid in 2021 besides Gujarat Titans. Based in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow the franchise is owned by RPSG Group (RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group). 

The team plays its home matches in the state capital’s Ekana Cricket Stadium. At the helm of the team is India’s wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant while former Aussie batter, Justin Langer shares his wisdom with the team, donning the role of a head coach. 

Despite being just three seasons young, the team made it to the playoffs in the first two seasons in 2022 & 2023. However, they failed to repeat the same feat last year where they finished the tournament in the lower half at the seventh spot.
